Manchester Inventors Group Christmas meeting "Ipeology?"

Manchester PATLIB hosted a well attended, despite the cold, ice and snow, Christmas Inventors Group meeting on Tuesday December 7th. Ipeology?, a Manchester based design and innovation company, presented a series of project case studies highlighting a number of products, which have been developed in conjunction with inventors as part of their ‘shared equity’ scheme. The company assists individuals in bringing products to market by offering design and manufacturing services in return for an equity stake in the idea. Also planned was a live demonstration by Tri-Tech Engineering of a 3D printer to produce a brand new sport product by Dragons’ Den inventor and Manchester Inventors Group member Dr Kin Kam. Unfortunately, due to the extreme cold, the printer (coming from a cold van) didn’t warm up in time for the live demo – but Blue Peter “prepared earlier” items were available on show. Tri-Tech also offered a free rapid prototype draw at the end of the evening – won by one of our lucky members…and mince pies were enjoyed by all!
